Slippery rocks and a big thanks

Two more things about bicycling in Minnesota:

  1. If you get off your bicycle to walk on the rocks across the headwaters of the mighty Mississippi River, be careful. Those rocks are slippery, as the woman in the picture learned the hard way (shown on her way to a sudden seated position).
  2. Don’t forget to put your camera back in your bag, dummy. You might not be as fortunate as I was. My camera found its way into the hands of Tom, a postal worker who lives on Serenity Drive in St. Cloud. He tracked me down and mailed it to me.
