Cedar Rapids asks for input on parks, recreation and flood-damaged facilities

A couple of opportunities to have an impact on what happens around here…

From a news release:

The City of Cedar Rapids is seeking residents’ interest and input on several options for rebuilding flood-damaged city facilities and planning for Parks and Recreation facilities and programs.

The city will host two public open houses next week to gather feedback:

  • Tuesday, August 18, 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., Crowne Plaza Hotel Ballroom, 350 First Avenue NE
  • Wednesday, August 19, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Crowne Plaza Hotel Ballroom, 350 First Avenue NE

One side of the ballroom will feature options for rebuilding city facilities and grouping city services and programs. The other side of the room will focus on the Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
