Training for one of those week-long bike rides

Speaking of long bike rides, as someone was just the other day, I came across these two articles by following Twitter tweets from roadrid3r. (If you don’t know what a tweet is, I’d be happy to explain.)

The articles are “Bike Tour Preparation” parts 1 and 2:

  1. Destination
  2. Training

The info is most relevant if you’re pulling a trailer (these pieces are on Bike Trailer Blog, after all) but they might be of interest even if you like to travel a bit lighter or have vehicle support.

Compared to most training plans, mine tends to be a bit more, shall we say, haphazard?

And we haven’t picked a destination yet. Gotta get on that soon.

Pedal on.
