A year ago yesterday Susan died. B.J., thank you for following up on her story. I drove the route that Robert Fleming drove at 6pm and then again at 6:30pm on July 29th of this year to see if the "sun in his eyes" defense was really true. As I suspected it was a lie since the sun was quite high in the sky and could not have been a factor. It's funny how little what happens (or doesn't happen) to Fleming matters compared to what happened to Susan. I don't think there is ever going to be closure. I guess it will have to be enough to think of Susan every hour of every day and remember how full of life she was.

Yep, let's pave a nature trail. A wildlife refuge as the signs state along the trail. The same trail they are cutting down the old growth trees on so we can put down asphalt and get more ragweed growing. What a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah let's pave a nature trail ??????? There is nothing wrong with trail the way it is. Nothing there stops anyone from biking on it and you don't get flat tires from riding on fine crushed limestone. You may whine cause you cannot ride on it in March and November, well so what no one is out there on that section or any other section of trail for those few weeks in spring and fall when the frost is going in an out. I know I have run more miles on that trail and that section in the last decade than anyone has ridden on it or walked on it. It's all about the bikers isn't it. Asphalt is so natural and I am sure the animals will just love it. You hypocrites are probably naturalists and environmentalists too.
